4GB isn't nearly enough, and you'll wind up having to purchase a hard drive later. If you get DLC it'll take up space, saves take up space (though not much) and if you want your 360 to not function as a heating unit plus rocket engine, you'll want to install your games to the hard drive, which takes up even more space.
As for warranty, I dunno. I've had my 360 for 4 years or so now, maybe even 5, and it's worked well so far. *knocks on wood* But if I were in your shoes, I'd get it new rather than used just to make sure everything is okay and not have to worry about anything.

The other guys are right; 4gb is not enough space. That's still the model you should buy, though.

1000 percent right here. I bought used thumb drives for dirt cheap and saved 60 bucks. *NM*

Do you just plug in the thumb drives to the USB port on the Xbox, and that's it? *NM*

Yep. Then when you download something you pick where to save it too. The HD or the External drive. *NM*

Yes, but I'm not a huge console gamer and I store media in other places.
