The amount of time I spend playing a game in one sitting is often determined by the fact that my left eye just can't seem to handle looking at a screen with gaming-style graphics for very long. I'm not sure I'd pay $80 if I could find another pair for less money and with good reviews but if that's all that's available that seems to work then I'd go for it.
Do your eyes get sore or start to water while gaming or is it just hard to look at the screen eventually? If your answer is yes, you should probably get some glasses.

I wonder if they're basically the "anti-glare" film+tint for people who normally don't wear glasses. *NM*
