Having bad graphics compared to Skyrim is just to be expected, and true for practically every game, so I can't endorse Nate's statement
The other complaint I had was just how... clunky it felt. In morrowind movement felt smooth and natural, while in Oblivion jumping felt extremely odd.
But the level scaling and loot scaling was the major problem in my opinion, and that is fixable with OOO like I mentioned. There are undoubtedly countless mods to improve the UI as well, and to improve the graphics... So really, there's no reason not to buy it.
