And yet, as you describe your gripes, I could see where you were coming from. The Euphoria engine is awesome at gross mechanics but bad at the fine control stuff, which is why you can ride a horse through a storm and cut off a herd of stampeding cattle, but walking through an open door can occasionally be tricky.

Some of it is probably just game taste. I have spent hours exploring the game world, it's just that beautiful, and so a bunch of the things that put you off are what I actually enjoyed.

So, all told, I disagree, but on the flip side, if you went into this expecting to play Grand Theft Horse, I can see where you'd be disappointed.
