Favorite quest?
So far, it's been the mage's guild questline. But I've just been wandering around appreciating the backstory of the world I've been placed in so far. I'm level 20, and I've only killed two scripted dragons.
Favorite Random Occurence?
Giant-Propelled Orbital Launching System. Giant-Initiated Draconic Beatdown. Giant-Assisted General Slaughter.
Situation + Giant = Hilarity for the ages.
Favorite line of Maiq the Liar? (yep, he is back)
"M'aiq saw a mudcrab the other day. Horrible creatures."
Favorite unexpected THING?
Dwemer ruins being so freaking awesome.
Oh, also fighting a pretty strong Bandit Chief on top of a tower and then FUS ROH DAHing her off to plummet to her death on the stones below. That was pretty unexpectedly funny.
Anything else you enjoy about it?
I realized yesterday what I really am enjoying about Skyrim. More than anything, it's what I loved about Morrowind--the feeling of being placed into an already existing world. Oblivion felt very limited beyond the main quest. Morrowind and Skyrim both have a great deal of conflict already brewing by the time you arrive on the scene. It was great to navigate the politics of the Great Houses and the Almsivi. It's great to navigate the currents of the rebellion. Skyrim just feels alive in a way that Oblivion didn't.
And the books are much better than Oblivion's, too.
