With 3DS being $169, which is equal to or close to the price points of all previous DS models (excepting DS Lites when you can find one), is there any point to buying anything other than the 3DS? Would someone be content with a similarly priced DSi XL or should a person jump to the 3DS even if they don't care about 3D?
Is there any advantage previous models have over the 3DS?
EDIT: While researching on my own, I discovered only the DS and DS Lite could play Gameboy Advance games. The DSi and later models switched this out for a SD slot. The 3DS wikipedia page actually has a pretty decent comparison of DS models.
