$200 is chump change for entertainment hobbies. - Edit 1

Totally not worth it.
$200 is three brand-new PS3 or Xbox titles after tax. $200 is a fishing pole and tackle box (if you're being cheap)... and that doesn't include the boat for $thousands if you're being serious about it. $200 is a borderline-acceptable set of golf clubs, or green fees for one season even after you've bought the clubs.
Even as a DM I've spent $400 to purchase the rulebooks, supplements, and campaign modules for my Pathfinder RPG.
Put in context, warhammer really isn't all that big a deal. Yes, the cost of entry is high, but once you've purchased the army and the paints/hobby supplies to go with it you don't need to spend anything else on it ever again aside from a new rulebook edition every four to six years... unlike, say, anything else I mentioned above.
