I've always wanted to, but don't know anyone to play with

I've played a ton of Magic, and a bunch of Munchkin. Two or three games of Warhammer and Warhammer 20k (kicked ass in all my games, thankyouverymuch. Being able to accurately guess how many inches artillery is away from enemy units turned out to be a hidden talent.)
I'd love to play something like D&D or Shadowrun or Mutants and Masterminds. The message board games I've seen go wayyyyyyy too slowly, though, and seem like they die out very frequently. Ah, well.

I amuse myself.
Any tabletop gamers present?

The only thing I've ever really tried is MageKnight. *NM*

I think I have a small dusty pile in a drawer somewhere. *NM*

That's better than having a big wet pile in your drawers somewhere. *NM*

Ever since we got the Dwarven Forge boxes, it's mostly power-gaming to be honest

I love Warhammer, but I have no idea how players afford it

200 bucks, for one army. Yeah... I'm good.

$200 is chump change for entertainment hobbies.

It's not insane, but I'm the kind of person who would want to play with a variety of armies
