Unfortunately for me, as someone who needs a powerful PC for non-game related reasons, I'll be stuck upgrading my hardware long after the average gamer has moved to cloud computing.
Play any PC game on your PC, Mac or tablet, regardless of specifications. Seriously.

Either number is well above the required minimum. That said, 1mbps makes more sense.
