Something I wonder then: Why is it called Dragon Age "2"? - Edit 1

From what I hear, it doesn't seem exactly sequel-y. If DArigins was truly an origin story or prequel, then it should've been named something else. Dragon Age: Shadows of Kirkwall? I don't know enough about the story to give a good name.
I suspect it was due to pressure from EA, or possibly Bioware's own marketing experts. Basically the same reasoning that made Modern Warfare 2 retain the "Call of Duty" in the title. Despite a tiny part of me that legitimately argues that it keeps the branding, it's mostly there for moms to know which game they were nagged by their kids to buy.
