I have the basic set and couple expansions, and I think it was worth every penny. The basic game is the same in all the variations, so it shouldn't matter too much witch one you pick though. And the sets are interchangeable too, so that adds to the fun.

It's a fun little group card game. A parody of D&D. Just start with the basic starter set.

I know the PAX SJ Games booth will have the boardgame. Which is better, card or boardgame? *NM*

Another question: Can I just buy one pack, or is like MTG where everyone needs their own deck? *NM*

You need one base set (be sure not to get mixed with the smaller expansions). No different decks. *NM*

Loved it, but never had the desire to play more than once or twice.
