I've heard a lot of good things about this card game, and just wondered if anyone had any advice on how to get into it. I know there are a lot of different "theme" sets. I probably just want the basic fantasy/RPG game for now, but I see that there's more than one on the website.
So, first off, is it worth buying?
Second, what would be the best set to buy so I could show it to my friends and get them into it?
Third... anyone else going to PAX East?

I amuse myself.
So, does anyone here play Munchkin?

It's a fun little group card game. A parody of D&D. Just start with the basic starter set.

I know the PAX SJ Games booth will have the boardgame. Which is better, card or boardgame? *NM*

Another question: Can I just buy one pack, or is like MTG where everyone needs their own deck? *NM*

You need one base set (be sure not to get mixed with the smaller expansions). No different decks. *NM*

Loved it, but never had the desire to play more than once or twice.
