For CS you really won't use any math beyond some advanced algebra, MAYBE some intro level calculus.
For CPE, yeah you'll need DE and other high level math.
This comes from working both with, and for, and being very close friends with literally dozens of engineers (computer, electrical, aerospace, mechanical, etc) and dozens of software engineers/coders.
