In my original post, I lamented the passing of the elites. In Outland/Northrend, there are still some elites to be found, typically in group quests, and it's fun to test myself against them. So far, I can solo quests that recommend up to four players. I've come to one that recommended five, and I couldn't quite manage that one, but once I get a level or two above the guy, I'll go back and give it another shot. Oh, did I mention how overpowered enhancement shamans are for leveling? SUPER overpowered. When I pop all my cooldowns, I can solo darn near anything. Spirit wolf + fire elemental totem + heroism + shamanistic rage. Free instant full-heals (maelstrom weapon) every few seconds. Things die. Group quests are fun.
