While the HD5770 is a great card I can't really recommend it at its current price. On newegg the cheapest is $145 if you are going to spend 150 you might as well get the gtx460 768mb which is 150 to 180 and is a better card.

So based off these results I would recommend the MSI GTS450 which is only 18 dollars more than what you paid and even cheaper after rebate, or the Palit/Galaxy GTX 460.

Full disclosure I am an ATI fanboy who has an ati 4890 (had a total of 3 crossfire 4890 in the past, bought 2 and won the 3rd, eventually sold the 2nd and 3rd). That said I am recommending the nvidia geforce for they are great cards and are better bang for your buck right now. Now if you install an nvidia card instead of the ati card you may return make sure to uninstall the old ati drivers before installing the new nvidia drivers.
