I have a family with two 4 year olds. They can't get enough of the disk golf and bocce ball. I personally am amazed how realistic and difficult the ping pong and archery is as well as the AI opponents which makes playing with myself (*sniker) fun as well (something the Wii never achieved and hugely important for most gamers since we tend not to have a huge crowd around us all the time)
I do agree that there needs to be a much stronger effort on the game developers part in order to make this a long term addition to my game playing, but what they can do with the controller is incredible which should open up so many doors to game development that we get a much better portfolio than the Wii. This thing doesn't just aim where you point it, it knows how far back or close you are, and the angle of your hand. It can tell if you underhand a toss or throw with your thumb up! It calibrates to each player so a 36 inch person can play alongside a 72 inch person simultaneously.
I think if used properly there is a whole world of possibilities with games like the elder scroll series, final fantasy, the LOTR because they already have such accurate sword and archery programming proven to build upon. What would it be like to play WoW but getting a workout along the way?
And of course, with the ability to put a controller in each hand, you should be able to make a more than decent football, basketball, baseball, golf, and hockey game. Maybe they can develop an ankle strap for them and come up with a soccer game! or not.
So for those of you who think this thing is the Wii 2.0 and a waste of money in the long term.....Well you may be right and you may be wrong. How much did you spend on guitar hero? How long did you play? worth it? I think if the move comes out with two more titles that have even close to the quality of the sports game that comes with the bundle, than this was a must have for any PS3 owner.

I concur. For two to six months, it can be THE family get together toy of all time.

It might be my fault if I didn't frequent gaming and technology sites four times a day.
