Roaches are pretty good though BlackAdder Send a noteboard - 19/10/2010 12:14:53 AM
Either that or you have bupkiss unit production because you went straight to lair and sacrificed getting a queen.

They're not wasted units by any means. Vs. MMM, Roach/hydra is pretty good, as is Roach/baneling/infestor. If your plan is to go muta/baneling then I suppose the roaches aren't great, but still throw them into your attack, they're good. Vs. Protoss, they're pretty resilient against Psi storm and can tank enough damage for your infestors to mind control colossi. Mass roach is not bad unless you're going against mass marauders, immortals, or air units :P
