I've been fortunate enough to use it at a couple tech demos myself. I think the technology and the product itself is fantastic. But I don't have any faith in it's ability to succeed, or have games that make use of the tech in a way that justifies the cost,or make much of a splash, or do anything that Sony wants it to do in terms of attracting some of the Wii audience to it.
Hell, the "Wii audience" has all but evaporated, really. Most of them bought the Wii, enjoyed the novelty, and moved on. On to Facebook, internet, and an increasingly diverse casual game market, to be sure... but it's a market that has no room for expensive consoles, let alone expensive consoles with expensive peripherals.
