This actually works very well...unless you're married and both play the same game in the same guild :\ Another one that works very well is just unplug your router for a minute, vent and game crashes on all PCs at the same time. Then close game+vent+whatever, power the router back up, and go do something else for a bit. When your guildies ask where you were, just tell'em your interwebs went out and didn't come back on for so long that found entertainment elsewhere. This one has the added bonus of the more frequently you use it, the more believable it becomes :P

I've found that the more often you use the latter excuse, the quicker you get replaced in Raids when it's actually true. I remember one time when WoW actually crashed for me and I heard them say "Damn, there he goes again" and they had replaced me before I could log back in, because I'd developed a history of not coming back. So they didn't hold my place for five or ten minutes like they would have normally.

I could see people not knowing Black Temple fights. That instance is from the old level cap. - 19/09/2010 06:24:21 PM 566 Views

Social obligations exist wherever socializing occurs. *NM* - 20/09/2010 04:41:53 AM 244 Views
That doesn't make them meaningful. *NM* - 20/09/2010 03:50:27 PM 242 Views
Well, you didn't specify meaningful. Even so, I don't understand the antagonism. - 21/09/2010 03:51:17 AM 624 Views
