1) Opera music does not equal drama.
It's the same one that DuGalle was listening to in the Brood War intro, too, so I wonder how Valerian got a hold of it if it's from Earth?
Anyway, I was singing that one for days after hearing it. Both times.
2) "The end of the universe" doesn't have to be what's at stake for every single series.
And prophecies rarely make things better. And making a new villain and retconning previous story into being their doing all along deals terrible, terrible damage to the plot.
As you might tell, I wasn't especially fond of the Zeratul arc. Speaking of which, I most assuredly didn't want to hear my favourite character delivering news of that creature's... courage. (Conveniently left ambiguous for spoilers' sake.)
