What's the price that you pay for a new game? soilent brad Send a noteboard - 17/06/2010 04:57:56 AM
I'll add one more thing, though. How would you "own" something streamed from a server located somewhere else? The whole point of the OnLive service is that you can play games without needing the physical baggage (powerful hardware, gigantic downloads, device drivers, etc) that comes along with them.

So...what would you own? How would you do that? If you download a 12 gig ISO you've nullified the point of the service.

You told Zalis up there that you pay full price, then $14.95 to play. So is that, you pay $50 to "purchase" the next Call of Duty, then pay $15 per month to play it? What's the point if you're paying the same price you pay to buy a new game with all the physical baggage if you then don't own the game?

I couldn't justify that. Of course, like I said, I like the concept, but that just ruins it for me.
