It's like selling a car to someone and the only way to drive it is to have it turned on from a remote server, which is always unavailable.
You'd have to be a pretty stupid person to buy that car, now wouldn't you?
Not that you're stupid, but I don't think you thought this purchase through. Don't buy from Ubisoft.
