I agree, but at the same time it's hard on families to have a healthy diet. Since I moved out of my parent's house I've come to realize just how much cheaper bad food is than healthy food. I do my best to buy the healthiest that I can but it really is hard for families on a tight budget.
That's the truth ... vegetables and fruits are pretty expensive to be able to eat 5 servings a day on a low budget. Grains and processed foods are much easier to afford.
Also, the linked article makes note of how the meat we eat is raised.
