I am amazed. Not that he was traded, but to a division rival? That almost never happens.

I'm totally mixed on this one. I'd been hoping they'd finally make a move in the draft on a franchise QB, maybe trading up for Bradford if they could, otherwise taking Clausen. But at the same time, knew they probably needed a career OT for the left side more, so maybe take Colt at 37 and bring him in easy over the season with Campbell taking the hits. Instead we get McNabb who's already an 11 year franchise QB.

At 33 how much longer does a mobile QB like McNabb have? Then again, he played superb last season, and he'll be dying to do over the eagles for the next few seasons.

Tricky one over all. Redskins are in a dire state due to so many bad trades of draft picks for overblown premadonnas. But McNabb is most certainly not a premadonna, he's a hard worker, and it's not a 1st round draft pick (it's a 2nd and mid next season), so the deal was probably worth making.

Redskins still need a franchise QB in the next few years, but McNabb gives them time to make the right choice and can take them to the playoffs meantime.
