All I was doing there, poppet, was agreeing with Larry. Nothing more, nothing less. No point in making my own post since he said everything that needed to be said.
Stop overreacting.
Stop overreacting.
Do you seriously think it is an overreaction when you call someone's post out on a separate thread and then when they respond you refuse to say anything about the whole of the post? Larry's comment was with respect to one phrase, an expression which was half wrong at worst. Don't call out someone's post, call them a poppet, then expect whatever reaction they have to be an overreaction.
Obviously, you're a little to proud to admit that what I said was right and that the commercial wasn't racist at all. I think Larry's point addresses my poor phrasing, but doesn't address the legitimacy of what I said, that is, it doesn't address the FP.
And really, poppet? Who's resorting to insults now? Sounds childish to me.
You must unlearn what you have learned.

Not "higher" nor "lower," but "different" would be the word to use here

She agrees with you about it not being racist - she had issues with your "crude" comment.

It's not race specific music if it's enjoyed/performed/presented by various races.

Only if it's racist to mention the fact that different races exist. Which seems to be the US view.

Not at all, the problem is when people seem to say something is exclusive to a given race.
