Prevalence, however, does not mean an action is professional or acceptable, even if it's allowed to go on. There's no explicate "rule" against bad-mouthing our professors, but if it ever became serious enough, we'd be kicked out of veterinary school faster than you could blink. Why? Because we're in professional school and held to a professional standard, the same standard that nurses and doctors are held to in this country. I'm not expecting to this nurse to behave in any manner I would not expect of myself and my classmates.
