My personal fave is the one currently near the top claiming that the bloodshed of Revolutionary France, Lenins Russia and Maos China were NOT, in fact, caused by irreligious groups, because those leaders had transformed their politics into a religion. Setting aside the ample testament that would be to a nigh universal human religious imperative, charging religion with the crimes of people avowedly, violently, opposed to all religion seems the worst dogmatism. It amounts to saying atheism is a form of religion proper, which I've usually known positive atheists to vehemently deny. Zealots of every stripe are at least united in their ability to be thoroughly annoying. It's truly sad that exposure of any pious fraud must be styled an indictment of all religion, as if Robespierres actions made all atheists mass murderers.
