I'm not saying don't question him. I'm just asking if there's any point to keeping him alive for months upon months trying to milk every bit of intel from him.
There is diminishing returns on the amount of intel gain when compared to the time we spent interrogating OBL. We may get X intel in the 6 months of interrogations, but we most certainly will not 2X intel in 12 months of interrogations, and 3X in 18 months of interrogation.
Eventually OBL will be removed from his network and thus any information he has will become "stale" and useless with a dynamic enemy such as Al Qaeda. Furthermore it is unlikely that he could purposefully able to hide information for 6 months yet is incapable of hiding that same information only 6+6 months later.
Am I right?
