What does it taste like? I was reading an article about french fries, and the fries cooked in horse fat were described as delicious, though undeniably a bit horsey.


I've never had it, but I don't think I could eat horse. Horses have too much of a nostalgic feeling for me, because I miss riding so much.

I hardly eat meat period, however. I haven't had cow, pig, sheep, goat, etc in over 3 years. Red meat really isn't that great for your system, and people eat wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too much meat as it is. I eat chicken occasionally, and only organic, vegetarian diet, hormone free, free range at that.

Call me a ridiculous person all you want, but I've done extensive research into the animal producing industry and the entire system of CAFOs is disgusting to say the least. You can say all you want about us "crazy people" that are causing such upheaval in the food industry, but it is possible to eat healthy, organic foods without busting the bank.
