I've joked about my "annual pilgrimage to the Pacific Northwest" the past couple years, but, realistically, I expect money will be tight and my travel plans taking me other directions come July, since I intend to be married in another country toward the end of August. A drive to Dallas would only take me about three hours though (even though I really hate being in Dallas. ) That's not to say I won't make it to Everett if I can; there's a certain couple whose wedding anniversary I've gotten in the habit of celebrating, and I'd love to meet Angie in person, it's just that I don't see how it's feasible this year (which really annoys me, but that's life, I guess. )
