Apple Slices! - Edit 1

Before modification by globug0822 at 04/09/2009 01:41:13 AM

Charlie is in Kindergarten now and we have to send a snack with him every day. He has to be at school by 7:45am and his lunch isn't until 12:25pm. He also completely refuses to eat breakfast, because he's like his daddy. So snacks are going to be really important. It has to be stuff that doesn't need heating, can't be too messy, and something that he can eat pretty quickly. They don't allow any sweets, so I'm hesitant about muffins. Are they considered sweets?? And it must be something that my picky, little fella won't take one look at and declare that he's not hungry! I'd also prefer if it's stuff that I can fix and pack in his bag the night before and just grab it outta the fridge and run in the mornings.

So...any suggestions?

You can get them in little bags...

Also I like the bags of mini carrots and lunchables are good for protein.

You can slo get dried fruit which is good because it doesn't go bad, and it's way fun to eat.
