Good on you; it's scary but worthwhile if you can pull it off so congrats. *hugs*

I thought of the biggest thing, not having anyone to wipe your nose for you, but couldn't anticipate all the particulars (and really still can't; I've never lived ENTIRELY alone, always had a roommate when I was making an attempt at getting away from "home" so there was always a good source of suggestions even if I wasn't being wet nursed. ) If the examples you've encountered so far are the worst you're doing far better than I ever did. Sometimes I wonder how much of a grown up I can be on that basis, but I'll never grow more except on my own, and I think part of the secret is knowing that's always true. My mom's in her mid-sixties and still wishes she could call mom and dad for advice. What's the line? "You can never know everything, and part of what you know is always wrong, perhaps even the most important part. A portion of wisdom lies in knowing this; a portion of courage lies in going on anyways."
