Cats are just smarter and independent beings.....sorry. Good job on getting 2 kittens.....otherwise you would be the second play partner. Good news for you, kittens sleep up to 20 hours a day. Use that time wisely! :P

A couple more items:

1. Get them fixed/spayed as soon as possible (which will not be for several months).

2. DO NOT GO CHEAP on food.....garbage in equals garbage out (yuck!). Besides, expensive food normally fills up a kitten quicker since it is richer in nutrients.
