did people stop telling you how wonderful you were and what great potential you had and stop caring if you weren't living up to it?
I just noticed it myself.
People used to tell me how wonderful I was all the time and then I guess I was about 25 or so when it stopped. I started getting all frantic about not getting enough attention and stuff. I'm sure some of you remember.
Anyway... it just struck me what might have brought on the change and I was wondering if anyone else experienced the same sort of thing...
So when exactly:
Did that happen to you?

Did that happen to you?
I don't think it's quite happened yet. That might be because since I moved back to Visby (where I grew up) the people in the orienteering club have been glad I came back to do stuff there, and so tell me I can do a lot of good there.
Did you lose your virginity?
Easter 2005
Did you fall in love?
Several times
Did you break someone's heart?
I'd like to say I never did.
Did you realize how much you didn't know?
I must've been around 15
Did you realize you had to start over?
Quite often when orienteering.
Did you lose your way?
I don't lose my way, I just make x minute mistakes (stolen from the Facebook group "You know you're an orienteer when...")
Did you abandon your past?
I never!
Did you stop looking forward and start looking back?
I look both ways, it's the safest way to cross the street
Did you lose your first love?
August 2007
Did you give up?
I haven't yet, and I don't plan to.

I only remember being told that a few times, when I was in my late teens.
