I don't remember anyone saying I had so much potential....it seems they've always said it was wasted. I have a mind that can do some downright amazing things....but a will that often has little motivation to do them.

Really truly fall in love? I don't know. I suppose when I was 22 or so. I thought it was love at the time...now I'm not so sure that Harlan Ellison didn't have it right. Love ain't Nothing But Sex Misspelled.
Did you break someone's heart?
I did it over and over again between the time I was 17 and 22. I sometimes wonder if everything that has happened in my life since then has been a result of the things I did when I was younger.
Did you realize how much you didn't know?
I realize it every day, and every time another day passes...I realize that yesterday I knew so little it was absurd.
Did you realize you had to start over?
A little bit over 2 years ago now....and I finally got to the starting over part about 5 months ago.
Did you lose your way?
Every day.
Did you abandon your past?
Every day, and never. Things in my past will always be walking in lock step with me...and other parts of my history are so far behind me that I'll never see them again, or even realize they are gone most of the time.
Did you stop looking forward and start looking back?
I still look forward.
Did you lose your first love?
I never lost her....I'm just not sure I've found her yet.
Did you give up?
I haven't yet.
