C'mon, look at the furor over gay marriage. How many ban supporters are motivated by naught but religion? And how many will actually admit that and their disregard for the Constitution rather than advancing the most convoluted and abstract but NON-RELIGIOUS arguments? This is America, home of the First Amendment, so it's never about religion, especially when it is.
