But there are many women who would believe as your mother was told and those children would suffer for it. Not to mention the psychological damage to the mother. I definitely think that the rape decision should be ENTIRELY made by the mother, who should speak to a trusted impartial therapist. After all, it isn't the child's fault. I just think it should remain one of the options.

I think we've been arguing this whole time for no particular reason. We seem to be mostly in agreement on the end result, if not the particulars.
