It is (International) Squirrel Appreciation Day, a day where our vicious overlor...err, the most lovable of rodents are to be honored and showered with affection (and lots and lots of nuts and seeds). It is certainly a holiday that transcends national and cultural boundaries, can unite people divided by religious and/or political conflict, and which might even help some souls "get some tail."
What's not to love about it? So, how about celebrating Squirrel Appreciation Day and making some lucky squirrel's day?

I knew it was something of... that kind.

And how did you celebrate?
I appreciated the local squirrels. That's what I did

And I had one fat gray run up and down the wooden side of the garage door when I was leaving for work, practically demanding that s/he be appreciated!
Which I did, of course.
That and I make sure they get plenty of food on occasion. Might have to buy them some food before Friday, as a snow/ice storm is now forecast

You? What did you do, besides attempting to lure one into your hotel room?

Happy Squirrel Day to you, too. We don't exclude people, just for having a bad birfday.
