none of that changes that I don't think it is a great strategy long term

They are very good taking the ball away, I don't question that at all. In fact I think the are great team, I also think the Vikings are a better team. I think there is a balance teams have to find and I think they go to far towards trying to cause turn overs and expecting to pull off miracle finishes. On a couple of Peterson's big runs people tried to strip him and failed to even tackle him. The strategy worked last night and it has worked other times in the past, how many games did they win this year because of late turnovers? The problem was some of those never should have even been close and I think they have trouble winning big games if they can't get the turnovers.
I think my Cowboys have the exact opposite problem and are not aggressive enough in going after the ball. Of course the Saints are going to the Superbowl while my Cowboys watch it on there giant TV so....
But still even though I will be rooting for the Saints I don't like their chances against the Colts while I would have picked the Vikings if they had gone.

Because of the chessgame; you put in defensive personnel based on who's in the huddle.

I really though Minnesota had the better team, but with all those fumbles it's hard to say that now.

Well, the better team doesn't always win (Just ask the 2007-08 Patriots )
