1. How often do you visit Read And Find Out?
More often than I keep saying I will....
1.a) Is visit the wrong word, perhaps? Is the correct question "How long have you lived at Read And Find Out?"
I think I pretty much live on Skype when online these days, but the days when I could LIVE anywhere online are gone for good.
2. Did you migrate here from the Homeland?
'Natch. Though it's VERY good to see at least one member didn't.
2.a) If no, who introduced you to this glorious site?
N/A. For the record, I wound up at wotmania when googling the words to "Dance With Jak O'the Shadows" for a post at a political site I once frequented.
3. Which Messageboards do you frequent?
CMB and occasionally the WoTMB, though I keep trying to find time to get in on the SF/FMB, and not just because that looks like the sites long term mainstay.
4. Did you take part in the inaugural Book Club on the Sci-Fi & Fantasy board?
Sorry, I missed it; life intervenes too much these days.
4.a) Do you plan to take part in January's Book Clubs?
I did; hopefully it's not too late, especially since it looks like I'm off work for at least another week.

Nah, for the most part me doing that would be like a Kalahari Bushman voting in one of our elections.

Of course.

Occasionally, though less than I intended.

I'd like to, but prob'ly not unless a decent entry could be created in, like, five minutes, which really wouldn't be fair to the contest and site.

Anyone who answered "yes" and has read the Trilogy must read DM of the Rings now; it may well be the funniest thing you'll ever see (especially "Hates the Dice, Hates Them Forever!"

Probably politics. Which is why I must avoid it, since I have so little restraint now. It's not that I forgot how to be tactful, I just... am not....

Hell, yes; for my part, there should be one at the end of the next month and another at the end of August. How much "joining in" would mean "presenting nominees/winners, possibly even running" and how much it would mean "nominating, voting and probably laughing" I'm not sure though.
9.b) Would you like me to explain what "ROscars" might be?
Very much, just not to me.
9.c) Is RAFOscars a better name?
No, not even close.

Think so; know who almost all of them are anyway, well enough I feel bad not providing more quality grist for the mill(s) around here. I feel good not providing lots of things that need deleting though.

Yeah, THAT'S the solution to my problem....

Because he has more sense than I.
11. Would you come along to a RAFO Gathering?
If practical; I'm hoping I can make it ya'lls way this summer, if that's still on, but logistics for many major undertakings planned for around that time remain very hazy, and there's no question which one comes first.

Thank heavens, yes. Classic Blue FTW.

Not at first, but I'm very glad to have learned.

Yup. I can tie my shoes, too.
13.a) Don't you think that's jolly useful for surveys?
Obscenely, and for long posts or extended discussions.
13.b) Don't change it now because if you do you'll lose all of your answers.
THAT I really hate, 'cos sometimes I forget or change my mind about using it after starting a response, and then I have to either remember all my points or copy. Still, about the worst problem that creates is that brilliant subject lines like the above are forever lost.
14. What is your favourite Donate! message?
I don't know I have one.
15. Have you submitted any Quote of the Moment suggestions?
Not that I recall, but in ~4 years at wotmania I submitted one, MAYBE two (can't recall for sure. ) Aren't spectator members awesome?
16. Do you read instructions at the top of pages or do you just do what you went to that page to do?
Pages have instructions? Neat....
16.a) Have you read through the Bugs & Suggestions page?
Heavens, no. If I were to submit one I would, but otherwise I only occasionally browse to see if there's anything to which I want to add my support. I've gotten spoiled by the regular Announcement of major changes (I'm probably missing dozens of subtle things regularly.
)16.b) Have you posted any Bugs or Suggestions?
I think I suggested a language filter, and I still think it would add a lot and subtract nothing. I'm very tempted to register and periodically use an obscene SN just to illustrate why I think the absence is a mistake, but I don't know that it would do anything more than cause annoyance. My quota of that is currently full.
16.c) If so, did you check first whether it had already been posted?
I'm not a jerk, I just play one online.
17. Do you keep an eye on the News sections on the Homepage?
Sorry, I rarely went by the Homepage at wotmania.
