Ask me how conflicted I was about Shanahan taking that job. - Edit 1

Cause I think if Shanahan was still on the job market tomorrow that Phillips would be gone tonight.
I'm a Vikings fan, but I just can't bear to root for Favre. I just have to root for the Saints next weekend, because as much as I'd love to see the Vikes win one, I would be extremely bummed if they did it on a deal with the devil. I mean....really, how bittersweet would it be to finally win the big one, with the guy who was your team's biggest rival for almost 2 decades being the guy that gets all the credit? It would make me sick personally.

Remember how he got his last one, after all.
A win is a win, especially if it's a Super Bowl. I was born an Oilers fan and my team is no more; if you knew this was the only chance the Vikings would ever again have, would you still say, "not with Favre!"? Frankly, I just hope it's a couple blowouts so Favre doesn't do his patented "we're down by four so I think I'll throw a couple picks" (remember the Steelers game? That's one he COST Minnesota. ) And he is getting better about that now that he has a team instead of just receivers and a good D, so maybe it was meant to be.
