that would make my allergies to away, I would TOTALLY DO IT.
More research should go into "curing" allergies for good. It's not like it's not research that can be valuable elsewhere!! what if the discovery that gives you a one-time CURE for allergies ALSO allows for rejectionless organ donation?? WHAT IF!!!
But I might be a little self-centered here

Heck, if I thought cramming sugar pills up my nose would help I'd probably do it, I never used to have allergies until a couple years ago, grr...
The organ rejection thing, actually one of my profs way back was working on that, or she had been before coming to our university, also had a colleague who was busy making a film that could be applied like once a decade and totally stop tooth decay, this was like a decade ago to, so who knows.
Wonders never cease, one of the bits I left out - the real rant probably several hundred pages unpublished in my head - was a general ire with most people complaining about how medicine is so expensive and makes up a sixth of our economy, somehow failing to note that the costs and life expectancy have basically been rocketing up in tandem, not like people didn't used to go into penury trying to pay for the leeches and elixirs before. Ungrateful little twerps, not that I don't think there are abuses there, but come on, if the general rate of increase continues at it's current rate those in their relative youth are likely to be living to ages on a biblical scale after surviving illness and injuries that would be guaranteed death even a few decades ago.
The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.
