Wii: bought it for the sequel to a game I loved. Would have been worth it for that one game, except the new game (the sequel to the one I liked) sucked. Lots. And there's nothing else good on the Wii. I haven't played anything on the silly machine except for the old game, so it's basically a glorified gamecube at this point.
Motorcycle: 2008 ninja 250R. Small bike, but cool lookin' and fun. I bought it when gas was at it very peak (over 4 bucks) with no end in sight. I was commuting to school and work every day, and figured it'd save me a bunch of money (it's a cheap bike) and be more fun and stuff. Turns out gas plummeted practically overnight, negating most of the savings. Also turns out it's not much fun to carry all the gear you have to take with you on a bike. Sure it's fun to pull up to school on a motorcycle, but when you then have to carry around a heavy jacket, pants, helmet, and gloves all day, you become disenchanted with the idea pretty quick. On the plus side, I didn't put many miles on the thing, and will likely sell it next summer for virtually what I paid for it.
Those be m'stories!

seriously, i just put my jacket and gloves in the bags if i'm going to be somewhere for more than an hour or so and can't put my jacket somewhere safe. plus, you can go grocery shopping on your way home if you have saddle bags to put the stuff in

I'm a little worried about the regretted "services" that might appear in some answers. *NM*
