I read an article a few weeks ago about Turks in Istanbul complaining about adhans, particularly the ones who really couldn't sing worth a damn.
We had a good singer in Ramadi, though it might have been recorded, it was from half a mile a way so the morning was the only one you really heard, to many diesel engines running the rest of the time. Pre-coffee I'm not in a good place to distinguigh recording and PA live broadcasts.
The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.

So you ban the steeples where church bells are not needed?

I would take an equal line against steeples where there is no bell/or no bell allowed to be used.
