of scheduling days off. I might work eight days, then get three off, then work four and get one... by "inconsistent," I mean "pretty much random."
I'd say it depends on your personality, but as someone who struggles a lot with consistency and sleeping/eating routines anyway, it just about drove me crazy. And I wasn't even doing graveyard shifts.
I really recommend you keep looking for something that has a more normal schedule, even though the unemployment situation sucks. I guess you could take the job and keep looking in the meantime... but unless you are a super-adaptable sort of person, it's not a good way to live. Messes up your personal life as well as your body and health if you do it too long.
