my old job was kind of "who can work when" and unless you insist on a particular set of hours, you could end up scattered all over the place. It was a 24/7 facility, so god knows when you'd be working.
It's mangeable...but it certainly sounds like it'd be hell. If you don't think you can handle it...it's not healthy to run yourself into the ground like that and you're probably better off in the long run with either a different job or working something out with the manager.
