you got your myths mixed up
The one discovered in the early 1800's and quantified in the later part of that century? Where water vapour provides around half the effect, maybe 75%? Still a myth?
I am not claiming there isn't a greenhouse effect, or that greenhouse gases do not contribute to atmospheric temperatures.
But their changed concentration due to human envolvment has not been shown to be a driving factor in recent temperature changes.
Not only that, but the proponents of such theories, say in Kyoto, disregarded factors such as the termal conduction of greenhouse molecules at different atmospheric pressures and altitude and also ignored saturation effects.
The second tactic of ignoring saturation effects is most annoying because it is an alarmist tactic. Like those used by people who try to scare you with demographics. Except it's even less appropriate here. If greenhouse gases warm the atmosphere it doesn't mean more concentrated grrenhouse gases will warm the atmosphere the same way. Nature tends to saturation curves like a discharging capacitator.
No, I am sure global warming is just a myth. </sarcasm>
