Your point seems to be that we should damage our fighting capabilities in hopes that our enemies will change their minds when they see how fair we are to them? I won't go as far as to say that you're a retarded half-wit, but I will say that you seem to be delusional and naive 
I don't need to be in a position to do that, someone else already is. Sucks to be you. The fact of the matter is, you have not provided any credible legal or moral justification for not trying terrorists in civilian court, eventough we've already have tried terrorists in civilian court and they are now rotting behind bars.
Weakness is allowing terrorists to cow you into compromising your principles.
