well, on some issues, he has to contend with the very fractured democratic caucus in both houses imlad Send a noteboard - 19/11/2009 08:02:44 PM
Not to mention dealing with all the members of the Grand nOpe Party in the Senate and House who want to stop ANYTHING that he tried to put forward. They want him to fail (which many on the right have stated over and over) and will stop at nothing to see to it that he does, even if it ruins our nation (that whole line by Reagan that government is not the solution but the problem is a self-fulfilling stance that they work so had at making true; if they just stayed out of government completely, instead of being part of "the problem" as they see it, things might actually get done in the country, and for the better).

And true, there are some things that Obama hasn't tried hard enough on, or done what he could easily do. Like ending DADT with a quick stroke of the pen on an Executive Order.

But most of the blogs that I go to these days are gaycentric and Obama is considered quite negatively these days among the gays. The Advocate cover recently was beautiful. Instead of HOPE. It was NOPE with a question mark. Dissatisfaction with Obama is beyond the conservative blogosphere. Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann regularly castigate him. As does the Huffington post.

Yes, much can change in three years, but Obama is quickly losing the moderates and liberals. He is in danger of becoming a one-term president if he does not live up to his promises.
Death to the Regressives of the GOP and the TeaParty. No mercy for Conservatives. Burn them all at the stake for the hateful satanists they are.
