1. What are your pet peeves?

2. Would you prefer doing things in the microwave oven, or the stove?

Stove is better, i guess.

3. Do you have any particular designs on your top bedsheets? Any pictures, or patterns will fit too.

i'm not really using sheets right now, as i don't have a bed. my girlfriend just bought some bamboo sheets for her bed though, which are nice, but, alas, patternless.

4. How many times have you gotten sick this year?

None. 'Tis a very rare occurrence, for me to catch more than a common cold.

5. (Follow up to #4) If you have gotten sick, did you get the H1N1 flu, or something else? Please name the sickness. If not, what steps have you taken to prevent getting a sickness, if any?

But, working at a hospital, i'm not about to rule out the very real possibility of coming down with H1N1 or whatever the fuck else is circulating at the time.

Also, i avoided the flu shots this year. At first, there was a mandatory vaccination policy in place, but i was too lazy to get it done by the time one of the unions fought and had the whole program dropped.

6. What television shows do you watch on a regular basis? If you don't watch TV, why?

None, really, though i do catch a few different things on the internet from time to time. Mostly thanks to my SO's interest in such things as Bored to Death or whatever, oh HBO. i have really been into a couple british shows. The IT Crowd fucking kills me and that's the last thing i was really hooked on, but i watch it online and that's a crucial distinction.

Well, the main thing is that i just can't stand television. The advertisements, most of the shows, news, reality bullshit, i just can't take it. It literally makes me feel disgusted or uncomfortable, kind of like Alex when he hears the Ninth. It may be from many years without tv, or just a pretty serious distaste for pop culture in general, but i can't stand it. i don't really go to movies either. i'd rather just watch old Doctor Who episodes on instant netflix or something.

7. Do you have a duffel bag, or a backpack that you use regularly? (No, ladies, this does not include purses.)

Yeah, i use a canvas shoulder bag from the Army Surplus on Haight Street, San Francisco. One of my few souvenirs from that particular visit to the Bay.

8. What future books are you excited for? If not, why? (Future can mean from tomorrow, to seven years from now, for all I care.)

Well, the last book i remember being excited for was The Death of Bunny Munro by Nick Cave, but that came out last month and i've just read it, so poop.

I like the number 8, so I'll keep it at that.

Thank you for reading, and please respond. Have a stupendous day/night/afternoon/morning.

You're welcome, and will do.
